We gather every Sunday to worship, pray and focus on a passage of the Bible whilst tuning into what God is saying to us while we’re together. Our range of Sunday Services offer different ways to engage in worship, from the more traditional to the more contemporary.

9am

Join us for a traditional service with a choir, organ and piano led hymns and songs. We share communion on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays. There is coffee and tea at the end so no one needs to rush away.  This service is also livestreamed and around an hour long.

10.30

A more informal service with band led worship, great Bible teaching and time to pray for ourselves, our community and our world.  We have a creche and fantastic kids groups for children from 3 to 12 years old so everyone is welcome.

6pm

A more relaxed informal service with a monthly format. First Sunday of the month meets with longer periods of sung worship, second Sunday features creative prayer and third Sunday has a short Bible-based talk. The fourth Sunday features a ‘go event’ where we aim to meet with the community around St Paul’s and in Dorking. Some great refreshments at the start and a chance to pray or be prayed with as we seek God.

9am
Traditional

  • There will be a talk based on our Bible reading for the week and spoken liturgy. There is usually Holy Communion, except for each third Sunday of the month when we follow traditional Morning Prayer. Prayer ministry is always available at the end of the service.

  • During the service we have hymns and songs accompanied by organ or piano.

  • Our 9am morning service lasts about an hour.

  • Tea, coffee and squash are served after the service. Our 10.30am congregation also arrive for refreshments together before the second morning service.

  • Our 9am service is live-streamed each week and can be found on Youtube here.

10.30am
Contemporary

  • Every week, a sermon explores our Bible reading for the week, we come together in sung worship led by a band, and allow time for prayer. A family-friendly service, children head out to age-based groups with tailored Bible teaching.

On the first Sunday of the month, the 10.30 runs as Café Church. From 10.30–11am crafts and games are available for all ages, whilst refreshments including bacon croissants are served. (Veggie and gluten-free options also available!)

On the third Sunday of every month, we share Holy Communion. Prayer ministry is always available after the service.

  • Band-led and contemporary, the 10.30 sung worship is a space to engage with God as we join together as one voice. The first song is always particularly engaging for children, before they go to their groups.

  • The 10.30am service is about an hour and a quarter.

  • Tea, coffee and squash are served before the service. This allows time for fellowship with our 9am congregation who will be enjoying refreshments after their service.

On the first Sunday of every month, there are also bacon croissants (plus veggie/gluten-free options) served for Café Church.

6pm
Weekly

  • On the 1st Sunday of each month, our evening service has a more relaxed style with longer periods of sung worship, creative prayer and a short Bible-based talk.

  • A stripped back band lead us in contemporary songs. In this service we typically can allow more time for sung worship than in other services.

  • The 6 is about an hour with a ‘soft close’ so that anyone can stay for prayer and worship.

  • Hot drinks (including decaf options) are served from 15 minutes before the service. There are always some tasty snacks as well.

  • Yes! Many people from our church do this, spending some further time gathering for prayer and worship.
