Stuart & Jenny
Jenny joined the St Paul's family LINK young adults’ groups 30 years ago. After University she continued to be a member of St Pauls and began exploring God's missionary call. In 1997, she and husband moved to Argentina where they lived and worked for 15 years. They have two sons, Daniel and Matthew who were born and raised in Argentina. The family returned to UK in 2012.
Stuart and Jenny have developed and moved into International roles since being based in the UK. Stuart has also trained as a counsellor and has a private practice and well as serving in pastoral care roles with mission workers sent from the UK and Latin America.
Jenny is the international coordinator for the Ethne Prayer Movement which focuses on mobilising prayer for unreached people groups. (www.ethne.net) and produces a variety of training and prayer resources. These include the Global Prayer Digest, 15 days of Prayer for the Hindu World, 15 days of Prayer for the Buddhist world and The 31 Frontier People Groups.
She is also leads the Prayer Task Force for the 24:14 Coalition focused on seeing Church Planting Movements started in all unreached peoples and places. (www.2414now.net). In September 2019 she was welcomed onto the International Prayer Council.
Stuart works as a counsellor and has a passion to see mission workers healthy and resilient in tough places around the world. He is particularly keen to use his overseas experience in the Spanish speaking world to help the missionary sending efforts from Latin America to the rest of the world and has increasing opportunities to do this, building on relationships built over many years.
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:14-15)
